Hub, I was able to get online & do a download. Bunch of udates & the Broadcom B43 wireless driver now shows activated & currently in use.
My secured network and an unsecured network are showing in the list. But I still can't connect to either one. I made sure the SSID & password are correct for mine, but don't know where to go from here.
Thanks again,
Steve |

Wireless works now at my job. Woo hooo!!
I'm hoping it will be a simple plug & play tonight at home. I will post back with results later.
Thanks again folks for all your help,

So much for "simple plug & play" at home!! I can't get any wireless connection at home!
I rechecked my SSID & password, both match what I have loaded into my router.
And my wife's laptop using XP connects perfectly.
It seems strange that I can still connect here at work but not at home to any network. I hate to change my setup to an 'unsecure' network.
It seems this must be a simple overlooked thing. What other setting could I be missing?
Thanks, Steve |

I finally figured it out & here is the answer in case anybody else has this problem.
I had to put my laptop's MAC address into my router & then it connected.
Wish I thought of that sooner.
Thanks once again for all the help,
Steve |
